Things are lookin’ good down there, down under.
I was scheduled to return to the RE tomorrow morning. She wanted to catch me right before ovulation to make sure the Clomid didn’t decimate my lining. However, my temps, cervix, fluids, and ovaries insisted I change the appointment to this morning. During the ultrasound we found two follicles on the right at 21 mm each. Two!
My lining wasn’t so bad, at 7.5 mm. If I haven’t ovulated by tomorrow morning, I’m going to trigger and the fun begins.
Meanwhile, Big Guy departed for the desert early this morning for work. Given the timing, his early departure ensured that I also had a early wake-up call. I followed him out to Palm Springs after the appointment with the RE. I think he feels a bit like a stud horse, but, hey, we gotta do what we gotta do!
AWESOME!!!! Congrats on the giant follies and the decent lining. Crossing my fingers for you!
Thanks so much! I’m feeling good this cycle!
Good Luck…the numbers are all very nice!

Thank you, and thanks for stopping by!
Yay for two pretty follicles and a good lining! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out just perfectly for you this cycle.
Thanks, Shelley!
Hi from ICLW! THanks for stopping by my blog. Congrats on 2 beautiful follicles! Keeping everything crossed for this cycle and hoping you will be making a beautiful blanket for your little one soon.
Thanks, Emily. I want so very badly to start this blanket: http://www.purlbee.com/the-purl-bee/2011/9/15/whits-knits-chevron-baby-blanket.html
That is a beautiful blanket. I love zigzag and those colors are amazing together!
Oh, I love it. I also love the colors. We aren’t going to find out the gender and we will be trying to keep all things baby gender neutral, so it’s perfect.
YES! Great news! This is exactly what I needed to read this morning. That it can work for someone. I’m headed out the door to my RE appt and hoping for some big follicles! My body is also giving me signs that ovulation is nearing (I was afraid it was going to be yesterday but my temp is still very low). Thanks for renewing my hope! Stay strong cycle buddy!
Sila, I hope your appointment went swimmingly. I’m heading over to MDC to check right now.
2 follicles at 21mm sounds perfect! Good luck!!!
Thanks, Sass! It was pretty crazy. They were GIANT!
7.5 sounds great. I never made it quick to that point during my Clomid cycles. 2 21s is perfect!
I hope, hope, hope so! Thank you!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. It is great to make new connections. I hope it all goes well!!
Thanks for stopping by here!
wow, two follies at 21mm. that’s great! clomid totally ruined my lining, i’m glad it’s working well for you, good luck!

Thanks, lady! I was worried about my lining, too. I think, overall, my estrogen levels are just low so I assumed that Clomid would be a bad fit. Thanks for stopping by!
That’s great news! I’m loving all the positive news out there in blog land recently… Really gives me hope. Wishing you all the best of luck, timing, karma, and everything else!
There really are a lot of positive things happening right now in our community. I love the momentum!
Hi from ICLW. I just read your whole timeline and want to reach out and give you a hug. IF sucks. Hope you have a great cycle.
Thanks! It has been rough, for sure. So sorry for your news. IF does suck.
Thanks! Congrats on triggering! Looks like I’ll be right behind you! Thank God. 2 follicles on the right. One at 20mm and one at 17mm. Lining 8.1. I haven’t ovulated in 4.5 months… (now you don’t have to make the trip to MDC
Lady, that’s awesome news! I’m so happy for you! And we are cycle buddies. That’s super fun, too.
Those follies sound great! I’m so jealous- my body thinks clomid is no better than popping m&m’s
FX for this cycle to work for you!!
I wish M&M’s and Clomid had the same effect. This would be a helluva lot more affordable for all of us. Thanks for stopping by!
While watching a TV program in French the other day, I had to laugh when I heard a pig referred to as what can be translated to “male reproducer.” Essentially a stud pig, then. My husband appreciated it less when I applied the label to him.
